• Diversity
Training
During the training sessions, participants and
the consultant will discuss and explore the myths
about diversity in guided, facilitated, interactive
and experiential dialogue. Basic skills training
in acceptable workplace communication will be
taught through lecture as well as through role-play
to engage participants. Respect, tact, effective
use of language and shared meaning of language
require a common definition in order to deter
misunderstanding. Together, the participants will
create those definitions. Their active involvement
is essential to “buy-in.” Active individual
and group participation will be continuously and
sensitively encouraged (with the understanding
that different customs, heritage, and personality
traits will determine the comfort levels of the
participants).
• Conflict
Management
Conflict is a natural occurrence in the workplace.
Conflict is a powerful motivator for positive
growth and change. This program teaches participants
ways to defuse destructive conflict, and use personal
differences and strengths to actually enhance
their organization. This program pays a great
amount of attention to listening and questioning
skills. The approach is Hegelian, in that participants
learn to understand their opponent’s points
of view as well as they understand their own.
Such mutual understanding often diffuses difficult
conflict immediately.
• Stress
Management
Based on the psychological theories fostered at
the Bolletieri Tennis Academy on high achieving
performers, this program explores the physical,
emotional and psychological issues related to
stress. The hands on training helps participants
take a close look at life-balance, physical and
emotional fitness and their own personal commitment
to health for themselves and their organization.
High achieving performers regularly monitor their
thoughts and their behaviors. They see the impact
distress has on the entire organization. The program
helps them create a personal plan for a better
life.
• Team Building
This high-impact, experiential program integrates
indoor classroom training, indoor or outdoor team
building activities, and feedback assessments
on team effectiveness. This powerful combination
of learning tools gives participants a strong
sense of effective team styles/practices. It provides
an opportunity to define how others view their
skill level against effective practices. The activities
used are problem-solving and communication-oriented,
not physically challenging. By surfacing critical
team issues, their effectiveness and productivity
will improve. Results include building trust,
communication, motivation and identifying specific
strategies to create a strong team. Action plans
are developed that will determine what each team
member can do differently to increase team productivity
back on the job.
• Presentation
Skills
A powerful presentation skills program that can
influence the decisions and actions taken by audiences.
Participants identify delivery needs, organize
content, and learn techniques to convince, involve,
and impact others. Comprehensive video practice
is provided in a supportive, non-threatening environment.
Participants will reduce anxiety and increase
their confidence during presentations. With carefully-set
objectives, persuasive content, and powerful openings
and closings, participants will maximize their
delivery impact to audiences of all sizes.
• Public
Speaking
Most people would rather be eaten by alligators
than get up and speak in public. This program
eliminates the myths associated with public speaking
and offers practical advice to new or seasoned
professionals looking to improve their current
skill sets. Participants will create their own
framework for any topic on which they need to
speak, and will learn valuable techniques to enhance
their basic speaking format, while tailoring it
to specific audiences.
• Time Management
Shorter deadlines, competing priorities, meetings,
interruptions and higher quality expectations
are just some of today’s time challenges!
Do you have more work and less time? Can you make
more time? You do have all the time there is!
The problem is not a shortage of time, but how
you use it. It’s a matter of self-discipline:
doing what you know you should do, regardless
of whether or not you feel like doing it. What
“kills” time in your organization?
Meetings? Team conflict? Negative behaviors? Too
much work? Understanding the impact TIME has on
your organization is not a “cure”
but it can make the insurmountable issues manageable!
• Mastering
Change
Success in business today requires employees to
become more entrepreneurial, take more initiative,
accept responsibilities, and become partners in
making change work for organizations. This fast-paced
program provides participants with the knowledge,
skills and tools they need to success in the changing
workplace. They apply the skills of transition
management to a current challenge facing the organization.
Improved productivity, commitment, creativity,
and customer service can result when employees
learn to be more resilient, flexible and adaptable.
This program helps to restore motivation and productivity,
since it provides a sense of direction for each
employee. It can be used to support a variety
of major change initiatives, including reorganization,
quality, self-directed teams, and re-engineering.
All workshops will be customized to fit the needs
of the client company.
